1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Knewcleus ("the Service", "we", "our", "us") at knewcleus.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users, including individuals and organisations accessing the Service on behalf of a business.
2. Description of Service
Knewcleus is an AI-powered knowledge search platform that lets you connect your business tools (Gmail, Google Drive, Slack, and others) and query your data using natural language. The Service indexes content from connected sources and uses AI to provide cited answers.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Accounts & Access
3.1 Registration
You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
3.2 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organisation.
3.3 Account security
Notify us immediately at if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised use.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
4.1 Plans
Knewcleus offers paid subscription plans (Beta, Starter, Professional, Business). Current pricing is displayed at knewcleus.app/#pricing. All prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise.
4.2 Billing cycle
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.
4.3 Beta (Founder) plan
The Beta plan is offered at a fixed monthly rate for the lifetime of the subscription ("lifetime lock-in"). This rate is guaranteed as long as the subscription remains active and in good standing. Cancelling and resubscribing forfeits the locked-in rate.
4.4 Refunds
All payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe a charge was made in error, within 14 days.
4.5 Failed payments
If a payment fails, we may suspend access to the Service until the outstanding balance is settled. You will receive advance notice before suspension.
5. Fair Use Policy
Beta plan users: The Beta plan is intended for individual use by a single user. It includes unlimited AI queries and up to 5,000 indexed items subject to this fair use policy. Automated querying, scripting, or any use designed to circumvent reasonable usage expectations is prohibited.
We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate access for any account that, in our reasonable judgement, uses the Service in a manner inconsistent with normal individual use or that negatively impacts the experience of other users.
If your usage patterns suggest abuse or resale of the Service, we may contact you to discuss your needs or take corrective action.
6. Your Data & Privacy
6.1 Your content
You retain ownership of all content from your connected sources (emails, documents, messages). Knewcleus does not claim any ownership over your data.
6.2 How we use your data
We index your connected data solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell, share, or use your data to train AI models or for advertising purposes.
6.3 Data storage
Indexed content is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore). Each plan has a maximum number of indexed items. When you disconnect a source or delete your account, your indexed data is removed.
6.4 Privacy Policy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully.
7. Third-Party Integrations
The Service connects to third-party platforms including Google (Gmail, Google Drive) and Slack. By connecting these services you agree to the respective third-party terms of service:
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services. Changes to third-party APIs may affect certain features of the Service.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Access data you are not authorised to access
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Resell, sublicense, or make the Service available to third parties without our written consent
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Transmit malicious code, viruses, or other harmful content
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, scripts) to interact with the Service beyond normal use
9. Intellectual Property
The Knewcleus platform, brand, logo, and all underlying technology are the exclusive intellectual property of Knewcleus. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or intellectual property without prior written permission.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to access, index, and process your connected data solely to operate and improve the Service for you.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
- AI-generated answers will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose
- The Service will meet your specific business requirements
AI responses are generated based on indexed content and may contain errors. Always verify critical information independently.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Knewcleus and its founders, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
12. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing settings in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to the Service or other users.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we will delete your indexed data within 30 days.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Knewcleus operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
